I recenty bought 'Avalon' awaiting for it to arrive in the post, add to my collection

Well recently I added "Bobby", "Sin City" and "Oliver Twist" to my collection of Elijah movies

Some of those, I've seen but don't really interest me, others I couldn't get a hold of just yet.
Aquariusgirl, "The Bumblebee Flies Anyway" is only available on region 1 dvd and is out of print. You can try ebay but be aware that you need a region-free dvd play to see it.

I have them all, except for the ones that haven't been released yet. Even managed to get Day-O on VHS, from someone in Australia, but it's not region 1 so I can't watch it. I did get a home-made taped from TV copy on eBay once, and watched it, but the tape was faulty and tore up both itself and my VCR after the first time. 
Maybe someday I'll find a way to get my Australian copy converted.

Do you know someone in Europe who has a multi-region DVD recorder that can transfer a PAL video to DVD? That's what you need. Or you could take it to a store in the US that does transfers to DVD. They might have a PAL format video player that could play the tape and transfer it to DVD.

were i work, we do conversions, but there's the issue of copyright. we can't copy anything like that. and when i tried, there's something embedded in the tape to make it impossible to copy it. 
it would be much simpler if they'd just make tapes playable for all regions. i think the tape and dvd people are in cahoots with the media player makers.

Yeah, those are the issues I've run into... I had someone offer to convert it for me, but I don't actually know that person, she lives several states away, and if anything were to go wrong, I'd be out one very rare Elijah film, a lot of money, and have a lot of trouble replacing it. So here it sits, virtually secret and safe. Someday maybe I'll at least have a multi-regional player.
