Elijah: The Movie Producer

i meant to post this last night, but i was soo beat! 
elijah is now a movie producer, beginning his first project based on the novel "black wings has my angel." he's teaming with the people who produced his new movie "day zero."
read all about it here.
i'm excited! how about you?

Our little Lij is slowly but steadily climbing up the cinematic ladder. Didn't he direct a music video for Apples in Stereo, too?

I also like dark novels! I'm excited about this project. I'm sure he can do it well.
He is truly climbing upper and upper the ladder. And if he finally gets an oscar, i will make a huge party.

Thanks Dee for the pointer. It seems like his talent is truly limitless - how wonderful! I'm glad he has all these doors opening for him and I can't wait to see what comes of this project. We know Lij is not afraid to get in touch with this dark side, moviewise... but this is what really excites me about this project: "to unearth something from that era that hasn't been made into a film or is not a remake is really exciting. It's a lost classic." A lost classic. Sounds mysterious and exciting. I can't wait to discover something new

This is exciting news and I’m happy to hear it. Elijah has been quoted as saying he eventually wanted to get into producing and directing so I imagine he jumped at this opportunity; I think it says a lot about the confidence people have in his abilitiies.
But goodness, he must be breaking records with all the things on his resume!

You said it Haru, but then he;s never been afraid to be different! This is just typical of me...I missed this completely until just now! Was it on the news in America or what? How did Deenan find out about this?! Thanks anyway, hope its as successful as everything he;s ever acted in. What does a producer do exactly?

a movie producer controls, supervises and coordinates things like hiring people, financing, and finding distributors. they're involved in all aspects of making a film from start to finish.
