^ I don't know about Germany Carina. It's released in the UK on Halloween so maybe a release for Europe would be around then? Here's hoping.

i went to see the movie again for my birthday, and enjoyed it even more. picked up on some things that were missed the first time, and though i noticed some LOTR references in the movie, i found a lot more. certain scenes, some phrases were reminiscent of LOTR. but it's still a great film all on its own.

i don't see a release for germany carina, but the film will be opening in other countries until march of next year, so maybe there's still a chance. i'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

I heard on the boxie that the release date for the UK has been moved back to November but I've just checked imdb.com (hope this is reliable, lol) and it says it's the 28th October! If that's true, then not long to wait!
And Carina - sorry, but I didn't see a date at all for Germany...  I hope you get one there though.

it's neither good nor bad, but as you say "interesting." i don't know if elijah was aware of how alike some scenes would be to LOTR when he was recording. and let's not forget that shane worked on ROTK so he may have been somewhat influenced to put some references into his own work.
i'm sure you'll get to see it eventually carina, and then you can make your own conclusions. be that as it may, it's still stands as a wonderful film on its own.

Saw it twice in my theater. (on the 10th of October I went alone, and on the 11th I went with a friend-- we were the only two in the entire theater, plus two workers!)
I thought it was an amazing movie, especially Elijah's top-notch voice-acting. My favorite character out of the whole movie was 9. :3 After that comes 7, 1, and then the Twins. (I'm also a shipper for 9/7, hehe! )
The movie was incredible, even if it was short. Shane Acker said there may even be a sequel in the future, but I'm not so sure. He's working on other films as we type. If there's a sequel, I hope Elijah will voice 9 again! He did a terriffic job, IMO.

I only saw it once, but I wanna see it again. I really liked it. 9 was my fav. too, definitely, cuz it's Lij! lol And the character was great.
But I missed like the first 15 mins of the movie, cuz the theatre started it early for some reason!  but because of that, they gave us our tickets free! lol  That was cool!

It's finally out! Huzzah!
Bad News: It wasn't at Wal-Mart... so I couldn't buy it.
Good News: I rented it at Movie Gallery, and my father ordered it on Amazon.com! Yay!
If you watch "9 - The Long and Short" in the bonuses, it features Elijah. ^^ I think both of the versions are unique in their own way, with or without voices.
