He was really funny, and the best thing was how is character still managed to come across as so genuine in admidst simetimes uncomfortable circumstances. His reaction in particular to some man at speed dating attempting to kiss a bit too graphically were hilarious- he basically rolled off the sofa and was sayign about how the guy was obviously opportunistic. They had a real Shetland pony in for various reasons and he did a FANTASTIC voice for it. One of the bands signed to Simian played at the end. I'm sure someone else will put a transcript so I won't say anymore, but if you missed it apparently it repeats on Sunday (not sure what time).

The show is going to be repeated on Sunday at 11.55pm - apparently an extended edition with extra content! I expect they'll be putting back all the even ruder stuff that they couldn't show at 10pm!
The show was hilarious, though it seemed that Elijah didn't know where to look on occasion - but then, he's been on Graham Norton's show before (at least twice?), so he knew what to expect!
I too was most impressed with the 'Essex accent' Elijah did for the pony (don't ask ), it was brilliant! (For those who don't know Essex is a county of England, just to the north-east of London, whose inhabitants are renowed for 'talking common'). If no-one's able to upload a clip, I'll explain about the pony when I've got more time - but I'm sure someone will have the programme up on You-Tube before long.
vahobbit - do you think he meant to fall off the sofa, or was he just laughing so much that it just happened? Whichever it was, it was very funny!
The band was Heloise and the Savoir Faire - Elijah must have been thrilled to be able to get them a slot on Graham's show. Heloise is a very impressive singer - sort of a 'Blondie for the 21st Century', though her voice is raunchier than Blondie, I think. The dancers are cool too. They have a very original-looking website:http://www.heloisemusic.com/

Quote from: Victoria Bialystock~Bloom on February 23, 2007, 12:34:04 pm That's great - but it's not a download of the episode itself - it's 'behind the scenes fun & games' from the show. It looks to have a fair amount of Elijah in - but I can't listen to it at the moment because my daughter has done something dire to the computer and we've got no sound!

I just saw the whole thing on YouTube...... loved it!! I do hope someone gets the unaired scenes uploaded as well... at least somewhere, so I can see them. Elijah's voice for the horse was FANTASTIC! He did that accent so well! (as far as I can tell... I'm American. )
Oh, and I'm just in love with Heloise and the Savoir Faire. That song is AWESOME! I need to download it and put it on my iPod. I never thought I'd ever say that about one of Elijah's bands.

Blue Star - maybe the 'behind the scenes' clip you can download from the Graham Norton site is the unaired portion of the show that they're going to screen on Sunday? I'll let you know!

I never knew that the Graham Norton show is showed on BBC 2! I have BBC! I just looked on the website and it says that the show is also to be seen on Sunday, so is that the repeat? If it is, it starts within a half hour! I'm keeping my tv tuned on BBC 2! I hope they repeat the show!
EDIT: I'm so dumb! It starts on 11 PM, not AM! Oh well, then I watch it tonight!

| Yes, I know! And I was thrilled when Elijah said on Jo Whiley's radio show last Friday that he "feels like an honorary Brit", partly because he has so many friends who are English.
BTW - if you want to listen to him on Jo Whiley's show, you can still do so for the next couple of days at least - follow the link: http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/jowhiley/ and click 'Fri' in the 'Listen again' section, then fast forward the Radio Player until about 12.10pm - Elijah's on shortly after.
