American Dad
''Hopefully, this is our year to break free from the 'younger Family Guy sibling' stereotype,'' says co-creator Mike Barker of the 'toon family headed by CIA agent Stan Smith. The strategy seems to be, Play up the political with what Barker terms ''the American Dad dark twist'': Stan's boss — that is, George W. Bush — comes to dinner. And... ''Bush ends up falling off the wagon.'' Moving on. ''We have a Christmas episode with Stan when he was a boy. While he's in the past, he realizes that he can severely hinder the left liberal movement if he kills Jane Fonda.'' Guest voices include Lisa Kudrow (not as Fonda) and Elijah Wood. Of course, not every plot is political; sometimes it's educational. ''We've got an after-school-special episode coming up where Stan becomes anorexic.''

I found this via Random Fandom's Live Journal, I have no idea what this programme is like or anything. I hope someone will put it on the internet because I can't get this programme. There is talk that it might air at Christmas.

Here's a little more about this. Tells what part Elijah will be playing , the name of the episode and when it airs:
When Steve's new relationship gives Francine empty nest syndrome, she tries to convince Stan to have another baby. Meanwhile, Roger longs to experience college life as a wild coed but ends up teaching class, and Haley finds a new crush in her classmate Ethan (guest voice Elijah Wood), who turns out to be far from normal in the "Iced, Iced Babies" episode of AMERICAN DAD Sunday, Nov.12 (8:30-9:00 PM ET /PT).

Hmm, an abnormal college/high school student.... where have I heard that before with Elijah? 
American Dad is kind of a spin-off sibling of Family Guy (which a fantastic show by the way). It's got the exact same kind of drawing and animation, but different characters, different settings and premise and what not. Well, both of them center around a regular American family with a crazy dad being the head of the household. And the smallest members of the family are always snapping one-liners and trying to take over the world.... this one's not as funny as Family Guy, but they're both pretty entertaining and amusing at times.
Just search up American Dad on Youtube and find a bunch of clips.
But I always love new stuff from Elijah, especially these cartoon appearances. Thanks jubeth.

i've never seen american dad or even heard of it. but i have seen family guy. it's a funny show. i'll be watching and listening for sure.

'American Dad' is actually a really unfunny, awful show. 'Family Guy' is crude but is funny sometimes at least.
I'll be watching anyway, of course . My TIVO has the show listed as 'Dungeons and Wagons'. I thought Elijah was on the eipisode called 'Iced,Iced baby'. I guess I'll record it and see

I had the same feeling to seeing the title. It doesn't look the same. I have a bad feeling we're setting ourselves up for a disappointment.  I'd probably better check somewhere....
Edit: I found out on TV.com that the Iced, Iced Babies (which is the real episode) airs on the 19th, not tonight. Don't bother recording, nuke.

Well, at least we know when it will really be on. I would have been much more p*ssed if I was wasting my time watching tonight's episode, anticipating nothing.

i was so wrapped up with the premeire, i totally forgot about it.
i'm glad it's coming on next sunday, but so is the discovery kids special he did. thank goodness they come on at different times.
