I am really excited by this project. IMDB says it is 'in production' so that sounds hopeful.

there now seems to be conflicting information about this film.
imdb still lists it as being in production, (but we know how reliable they can be at times) yet on steve martin's site, he says there were never any plans for the movie at all.
I’ll take this opportunity to settle a few rumors: I never posted anonymously on the site; there is no movie of Picasso at the Lapin Agile in the works; and I did not submit a script for Pink II (just a few pages), even though there is one in the works.

bummer!  well, at least the movie isn't going to be made at all. this way we won't have to live with someone else portraying einstein.
