Most classic rockers are rawboned and sort of rough-faced, so he couldn't really impersonate them well. The good ones tend to make up for it in charisma.
Mr. Darcy would be cool, especially if he could summon up the necessary haughtiness.
I would still like to see him in Shakespeare -- Claudio, maybe, or Ferdinand. Maybe Orlando, or Hamlet, or the King of Navarre...

I very much agree that I would like to see him in a period piece. I think the last time he did one, it's really not the morally best idea to fantasize about him
I don't know if there is a musician i'd like him to pplay. I think he is too short to play Lindsey Buckingham, although a lot of people think I look enough like Stevie Nicks to play her
I'd like to see who he would like to play, honestly, and just see where that'll take him.

I like the Morrison idea! They both had arresting eyes and similar jaws, I think. I could imagine him with a bit of muscle and makeup as the Lizard King.
The only snag is... wasn't Morrison fairly tall?

Yes, Seven, I think he was fairly tall. In photos with the other members of The Doors, he is not shorter than any of them. Ray is tall and skinny and Jim is as tall as Ray. It's amazing what they can do with camera angles to make an actor look taller, but to do that for an entire film.....it would be a stretch. (LOL Sorry, no pun intended)

Hmmm, uh....yeah, Elijah slithering across the stage underdressed and made up as the Lizard King.....meep! *conjurs image*

It's not a rock star but I'd LOVE to see him play Will Young
