If He Wasn't Iggy, Who Would You Like Elijah To Be?

This came up in my head fairly recently. We all know what happened with the Ian Curtis thing, which I was so excited for but now since I know more I don't think it would be all that.
What musician would you just die loving if he played him? For me, I think it's young Lou Gramm from Foreigner. I'm such a huge fan of that band, ever since I was like, 7. It's such great music and Lou Gramm sounds like Elijah to me. The same type of voice. Plus in those early years, Lou had the same kind of bug eyes and nice features and I would LOVE to see Elijah try that blonde long curly do. Those are some of my favorite songs of all time right there. He has a really great voice.
I'm not really sure where this should go, so if it needs to be moved that's fine with me.

I don't think I would want to see him as a musicican in the movies but maybe a fictional character from a different time.I am in love with the regency period(Emma,Pride and Predjudice,etc...)and i would love to see him try this.Even though women of that period had very little to do I love the outfits and stuff.I think Lij could do this.Ewan Mcgregor already has done it so I'm waiting for my other favorites to try.

Well, Blue Star, Boston and Foreigner are two of my absolutely favorite groups, but I don't think I can imagine Elijah playing Lou Gramm. Lou does have big, beautiful blue eyes though.
On the other hand, I can definitely visualize him in a "period piece" along the lines of the Merchant-Ivory films. *thinks of Elijah with long hair, ruffled shirt, coat with tails, knee-high boots.....swoons*

I don't know what kind of role I'd like to see Elijah in. It's hard to imagine him as a musician in a band I'm into, he doesn't seem to have the right build, but it'd be cool to see him as a performer.
He could do anything, really. He's so versitile.

The beauty of Elijah as an actor is that you never know what to expect, you could be thinking that you'd like him to do a play perhaps and bam! he announces Iggy, or Paris Je t'aime or even Bobby, one more different than the next and that's part of what I love so much about Elijah as an actor!

Do you see some resemblace between BJA and Elijah? I remember reading a discussion about how these two shared some similarities a few months ago.
I don't think he'd take part in a movie about green day, since he thinks they're overrated (although I like them ), but in fantasy, everything's possible.

I was just thinking too,he already has the sidburns to do the period piece too! He can keep the short hair also since some didn't have long hair then. Please put him in regency piece. You can just see him ridnging through the fields on his horse to court some young lady in waiting. "sigh"
p.s.the pants that they wore in the regency period also shows "packages" quite nicely.

Quote from: Blue Angel on September 22, 2005, 08:40:29 am I can definitely see a resemblance...but why make a movie about Green Day starring him when they're not really too old and Billy Joe might as well play himself?

Overrated???!?! Why, you...... *shakes fist angrily* Elijah and I have the absolute opposite tastes in music. Oh well. That's not what matters.
