That is cool that your husband liked it Romeny. I was hoping mine might like the film too, fight club enthusiast that he is. He wasn't a big LOTR fan either but he liked Elijah in Sin City. It' fun trying to convert them.

My husband thinks Elijah is like a born-again Michael J Fox - too squeaky-clean and boyish to hold his own in 'tougher' roles like Matt from Green Street.
I've attempted to 'convert' him many times, but though hubby is a complete 'metrosexual' in other ways, he just doesn't get 'The Wood'!

Okay, I never watched this movie during 2004 because I was still young at the time.. Lol.
so, yeah, was this a horror movie? cause if it is ugh... because if I watch it and its horror... I'll get night mares :p but who cares I'll still watch it cause of Elijah Lol.
was this a good movie?

GSH is NOT a horror Raquel... The Faculty is a kinda 'spoof-horror', tho it's quite humorous for the most part.
My feelings are mixed with this movie (Green Street). I believe the film is worth watching Raquel, but some of the Matt (Elijah's character) storyline seemed a bit unrealistic to me. And though it's a good movie in general, it IS fairly violent, so at your age I wouldn't necessarily recommend it! (And certaily NOT Sin City!!!  )

At last i saw that film...
The film is good ,but violent..love the final scene when lij was walking and singing..he have a beautiful voice

OH MY GOD I love Green Street Hooligans! I am the only weirdo in my group of friends who would watch it just because Elijah is in it (we've all been through that I assume  ), and one day I made my friends watch it for a movie night. Now, whenever we have movie night reunions, that's the only movie they want to watch, they ended up loving it so much! I was so happy they liked a non-mainstream movie that he was in.
One movie I would NOT recommend to Elijah fans is "All I Want/Try Seventeen." Total waste of time and money. That movie did nothing to satisfy my need to see Elijah films, and he was the STAR. The plot was crap!

oh no, i like that movie ( All i Want)..yes it has some bad things like the unbelievable end...but the rest is ok..Franka and Mandy were just awesome

Aw no .. I wish ! It's Lindsay Lohan pre-drug abuse / alcoholism / random hookups. I actually was ok with her back then but not anymore .. anyway, at least she looked good in that picture so I used it haha.
Wow, I'm really surprised you liked All I Want. I was so completely disappointed in that movie  But hey good for you!

amberxo... I too loved All I Want/Try Seventeen... so I agree with Mai...
I have 'reviewed' the film and made my thoughts clear in other threads... I also thought the end was so unbelievable and 'Hollywood', but in general, thought All I Want was a quirky, funny film!
However, this is about Green Street, which I thought was brilliant in parts, but the Matt character was also slightly unbelievable to me. The English actors were excellent, especially Bovver, and the guys who played the two brothers.... The violence didn't bother me. And after "Sin City" it seemed positively TAME, lol!

And i totally agree with Gem in hating the End, But apart from that i adore Franka Potente and of course Elijah[they made a great couple!]..so that i love that movie...

Yes, I saw her in Bobby with him! Wow, I completely forgot they worked together.. that movie was so sad in the end, but thankfully Elijah lived! She looked pretty in that movie too.
