There's a website up for "The Colour of Magic" and a poster featuring Sean in his Twoflower glasses. I have always liked him with glasses!

Once more, it's Belleferret's find!

I've read them and I'm not sure I'd liken them to LOTR. They are satirical comedy, more like the late Douglas Adams' Hitchiker series. Twoflower's a GREAT character, and perfect for Sean.
The books also feature "The Luggage", a very determined piece of setient wood. LOL

Not yet. Actually, I THINK it's a mini-series for Skye One. That's a channel like Showtime is over here, isn't it? It's also supposed to show on Fox in the states!
I love the poster! I'm so glad they didn't show Sean with the bucket hat. You can see his face, and I love the sepia tones they used!
Hugs, Rach

I'm sure it will be out on dvd shortly afterward! Don't give up yet! I have found so MANY Sean things I never thought I'd get to see. It just sometimes requires a bit of waiting.
Hugs, Rach- who never gives up on Sean

Those pics are nice, Rach! Thanks for sharing them. Boy, that shirt gives me quite the giggles when I look at it.
Our Sean certainly has trimmed down, hasn't he? I didn't really realize how much he had gained for LOTR.

Sean has been up and down quite a bit. That's what concerned me when he gained for LOTR. Once you have gained weight once, it's difficult to keep off. I think this will be a struggle for him all of his life now, and I hate that for him.
I wish he would let his hair grow back, though. I loved the curls!

and I second that! His curls are great and I do miss them! It always is a shock to me that actors are required to gain weight for roles. Knowing how unhealthy it is...I don't think they should do it.

It's the name of the game though Culpie, directors do make those demands of their actors and most comply or they don't work.

Yes, it is. The director is the actor's boss. A good one will let his actors do some of their own interrpretation (PJ let each main actor be in charge of their character...mostly) but ultimately, they have to do what he or she says.
Including gaining weight. Althogh, NO WHERE in LOTR does it say that Sam is any more plump than any other hobbit. In fact, considering his job was heavy outdoor work, you MIGHT lean to the idea that he was THINNER than most hobbits. He should have been smaller than Frodo.
Ok, don;t get me started....LOL
Hugs, Rach
