Sean will also be lending his excellent narrating talents to a youth version of the Bible in audio form. No word yet as to if he is doing ALL of this or some of it, but I keep you informed as developments warrant.

My goodness...he is certainly keeping himself busy. Yes, Romeny...things are getting better for me. It is still very odd to not have dad around...doesn't seem right...but at least I can smile and laugh at the good memories.
And as always...thanks Rach for keeping us posted. I actually forgot that the taping of Meerkat manner had stopped during the writers' strike. I usually catch the episode online since I don't watch much tv. It is nice to know the new ones are coming!
Special Agent Oso sounds so cute! I bet my nephews will like it.

Quote from: Storyteller ~RSF~ on April 05, 2008, 07:51:07 pm I'm assuming you all saw Sean on "Law and Order". WONDERFUL! FInally a part worthy of his talent! |
I was able to view the episode from a friend's tape last night. I like those crime shows anyway and Sean played an excellent role; I just felt that I wanted to see more of him.
I've been thinking Sean could carry a TV show himself either a comedy or drama, I can't decide but he's quite versatle. I wonder if he'd be interested in something like that.

It certainly would be nice to see him a little more often. How neat it would be to see him on a regular TV series. I might actually start watching TV again.
It is kind of funny. LOTR was such a HUGE hit. Now when some of our fav stars are in other movies - I am disappointed that their movies don't generate a lot of interest with the "fan rags". They really do seem to neglect the good actors and actresses in favor of the Lindsay Lohans and the like. Grrrrrr! Sean's latest never even came to our town.

I think the fan rags thing comes and goes, Culpie, with whomever is "hot" at the moment. It's sad, really, because the LOTR fams tend to be VERY faithful, in my experience. Our interest in our hobbit lads doesn't die.
Speaking of our hobbit lads, here's a bit about Sean's latest movie venture, and he even likens it to LOTR.

This one has a picture, albeit and old one.

No one can say Sean isn't versatile. Guess that is why we love, right?

One of the reasons, anyway.
There have been SO MANY article lately about Sean campaigning for Hillary Clinto that I didn't feel I could even attempt to post them all, but I had to send out this one. I love the pic included. LOL Sean with a bullhorn! lol The boy HAD to love that. He's rather fond of talking. LOL I love him for that!

Just wanted to let you know that Sean will NOT be narrating Meerkat Manor this summer. They decided to bring in a female narrator for what is supposed to be the last season. My feeling is they decided, since the show is ending, not to pay Sean's asking price since the ratings didn't matter.
Just my idea. If they wanted it renewed, they've made a BIG mistake. I won't bother with it if Sean isn't narrating. his voice made it what it was.

Oh how disappointing! I bet you are right, Rach. Can't say I am too interested in it now that Sean won't be narrator. He really did make the show.
I wonder if Flower's death effected how people viewed the show? Just a random thought. I remember how shocked I was about the reaction of some of the viewers.
Oh well...I bet something better is coming for Sean. I would LOVE to see him in a mystery....not a gore fest...but a good ole suspense thriller.

Did you happen to see Sean in Law and Order a couple of weeks ago? He was EMMY WORTHY as a fundamentalist minister who was raising an army of children. It was rerun last night.
Also, here's a screen cap from The Colour of Magic.

No, I didn't get to see him in it. However, I am sure I will catch it somehow. My tv reception is horrible and I haven't sprung for cable yet...so unfortunately I miss some good stuff. Maybe I can get my brother to watch for it and tape it for me. Ooooo...that thought has merit.

You should try Culpie, he played his part so well that I think L & O should do another episode with Sean as the minister.
