(Am I hedging my bets a little obviously? ) Just to clarify, the Frighteners was filmed in 1995/6, in New Zealand, if I can recall from PJ's biography. Orlando appeared in only one small film role prior to FOTR - he played a rent boy in "Wilde". Anyone heard any new projects in store for Orli?  It must be difficult to get the LOTR role right out of "school" and then have everything quiet down.  Of course, the POTC series were pretty fun and there was something endearing about Elizabethtown. However, I would like to see him do another action movie, but not necessarily something pretentious. Maybe a good solid drama. Report to moderator   Logged Culpie Moonlit Sky The minor fall and the major lift. * Offline Gender: Posts: 3222 Re:Everything Orlando Bloom!!! « Reply #28 on: July 19, 2008, 03:20:21 pm » wow, i forgot about this thread. i saw mention above about speculation of Orlando being in the remake of "Le Cercle Rouge." as far as i know, this has been confirmed, and he's to play the main character! it's to be directed by Johnnie To and co-starring Liam Neeson and Chow Yun-Fat, and filming is supposed to start anwywhere between September and December. Orlando will also be in "New York, I Love You," which is the sequel to 2006's "Paris, Je t'Aime." he'll be in the segment directed by Japanese director Shunji Iwai, and starring along side Christina Ricci. his segment will take place in Harlem, and he's rumored to be playing a writer. there have been some photos floating around from on the set, too, so it's basically a sure thing unless they cut his segment from the final movie.  scheduled release: Feb. 13, 2009. things have been quiet since he was done with "In Celebration." i'm excited to see him on the big screen again!
