It looks as if Billy Boyd has a new movie coming out to be released  May 4, 2007.

Entertainment Weekly Magazine 4-27—May 4, 2007 (double issue) mentions Billy Boyd’s new movie.  It reads “As the trainer of a record-breaking cyclist in May 4’s “The Flying Scotsman” Scottish actor Billy Boyd is far removed form sporting furry feet and pointy ears.  In the same paragraph the article goes on to mention his favorite scene from ROTK (the one with he and Ian McKellen discussing the afterlife).  According to him, the scene was only added after Pete and Fran lost a close friend.

He’s on pp 25 (small paragraph) & again on pp 44 (just a few sentences) under ‘Also Playing.’

So this is actually going to come out in America? I miss Billy.

Wow, I never knew that about the afterlife scene. That is so brilliant. Sometimes just plain luck (or bad luck) made that movie as great as it is.

What kind of article Moonlit Sky, about how the bike was made possibly?  Hopefully it will be seen here, I'd like to see Billy in something again.

Any further news on this movie? I haven't had the chance to research whether it is out or not...but I think it is finished filming.

Any further news on this movie?

Yes, it came out in the early summer & played over here but in extremely limited release;  this sounded like such a good movie that my husband would have loved but it only showed in a few cinemas in my town for a couple of weeks and I never got a chance to see it.  I'm hoping it comes out on DVD.

Oh poo!  It sure never came around our area. No big surprise, I guess. I do live in the country. I agree with you, Romeny...it does sound like a good movie. Guess I will have to wait and hope for the DVD too.

I don't know if anyone's interested but I found this DVD today at BJ's Food Warehouse for $18.99;  it looks good and hubby and I will watch it tonight.  Billy gets second-billing btw.

Whoops...I always meant to follow up with you on this, Romeny.  Did you and your hubby get a chance to watch it? If so, did you like it?
