"My Place In This World" Hobbit Music Video

Well, I finally got it online, with a HUGE thanks to Jochen for the space. Thank you so much, mate! 
Now, I have a few quick disclaimers, if that's okay. 
1. This may take awhile to download. IT goes rather slowly on MY computer, so I'm guessing it's not easy to upload on Dial-Up. If it is going simply TOO slow to even save off, PLEASE let me know, I can make a lower-res version.
2. The clips aren't terriffic quality. I use my digital camera's camcorder feature to record them off my DVD player, ergo the rainbow-ish lines across the stills. I have much improved upon this technique in the year since I made this video, but I'm afraid the quality's not terriffic here, and I'm sorry about that. 
3. For the best results, make the video viewing screen smaller than it is automatically. It makes the lines less obvious.

I loved it. You are indeed very talented. You don't have to worry about the little things becuase the video is so well done that you don't notice the little things.

OMG I loved it! It made me cry haha. But everytime I play it, it stops playing at 2 minutes and 38 seconds...is it supposed to do that?

I downloaded the video last night but didn't have time to watch it until now...
I liked it a lot, Chloe, it's very well done. The transition between the images is great and I didn't fine the lines disturbing at all. The song fits the clip very well too.

hopeinspiresaction Thank you! Oh good, I'm glad the lines weren't too obvious. You never know, some people just notice the details no matter what, but I'm very happy to have these particular details ignored. 
sweetsarah No, it's not supposed to do that.:-\ Hm, well, it could be re-downloading it would help. I once had that happen with a music video I downloaded, and I just deleted the original and re-downloaded it. That may work.

Thanks for this wonderful music video, Chloe! I like the song and choice of clips very much.
The lines were not distracting at all. The transition effect was way cool!!! Does it have a name? Which program did you use? It was like flickering and skipping. Very nice. It was just a bit to fast for my liking, especially with that slow music. Half the speed would have been enough for me, because I felt a bit dizzy after watching it. 
Overall score still: Fantastic! 
And there's more where that came from, right? Right, Chloe?!

Doremi Thank you for the constructive review! I really appreciate. I use a program called "Showbiz Movie Maker" by Arcsoft. It's supposed to a picture slide-show program, but it works for music videos just fine. And sorry for your virtigo! *hands out Gingersnaps as well*  I know there's a lot of varying opinion on how people like movies. Some prefer slow, but I sort of like fast-paced. *shrug* I'm glad you liked it, though!
Carina *squee* Thanks, mate! I have fan-made trailers for two of Elijah's younger movies, one Huck Finn video, and several videos that have Elijah ALONG WITH other movies. I'll probably try and get the trailers and the Huck Finn one up next.

Your vid is sooo sweet Chloe! I'm really glad you shared it with us.
I especially enjoyed how you overlapped each of the characters images from all parts of the trilogy. I’ve never seen a video done like that before.. a very unique artistic touch. It helps to display a better understanding of what they went through over time. Also, I have to agree with Cristiel, doremi77 and hopeinspiresaction, the quality of the video is not distracting nor very important, those are only technical details that can be improved on in time. It’s the message and the way it’s conveyed through the editing of the imagery to your song of choice that matters most. I feel you displayed your message quite clearly and beautifully and to that I say Excellent Job!
I hope to see more of your vids soon. Sorry if I rambled to long...
