all of sam and frodo's scenes are great. you picked the best ones rose. it took me a long time to choose, but i had to go with the mt. doom scene. it breaks my heart every time.

I loved it when he went thru that water to get to frodo.. and he couldn't even swim! He's the best friend ever... I also loved the mount doom scene... and several others... like the rosie, and when he sent him home...  that one made me cry.

Do you have any idea what you're doing to me Rose? Forcing me to choose between all those wonderful Sam & Frodo scenes 
I think you should have at least added a "I love them all" option in your poll 
By the way, what's your own favorite scene?
I really love them all but I realise I have to make a choice so... Mount Doom.

That is one tough question... They are all so wonderful!
But I go with the scene at the end of FotR, where Sam follows Frodo in the water... That loyalty and friendship! Being there for somebody who doesn't show that he wants him with him... So touching. But the others are so heart-wrenching and beautiful too!

Jaeniver, I can't believe I forgot about the scene where Sam says, "Don't you let go." I love that scene, too! If I had thought if it, I probably would have put that one instead of the Green Dragon one, since that one is not technically just a Sam and Frodo scene. I wish I would have had more than eight options. 
Cristiel, I know what you mean. It is nearly impossible to choose a favorite. But, if I have to choose, my favorite scene in the whole trilogy is the "I can't carry it for you...." scene.

i couldn't chose i narrowed it down to mt doom and gray havens because they both make me cry so much! but I ended up chosing gray havens as its so sweet and sad and i love it when he says "the last pages are for you sam" or something to that effect

All of the scenes are great but i'll go for the scene at the end of TTT which Sam says "There is some good in this world, Mr Frodo..." It is really consoling and gives hope. It fills my heart with willingness to live.

The Mt Doom and Grey Havens ones... "Do you remember Mr. Frodo???"
my heart just melts... is that the essense , the HEART of this movie's trilogy.. those two little hobbits on that god forsaken place ... yet then there is the sail boat getting ready to leave with Frodo going and giving Sam the Green Books that he worked on ... "We set out to save the Shire ..but not for me".... I had to go with the Grey Havens.... although
the "Don't you let go... "is painfully missing... I agree... we should have had
ALL OF THE ABOVE because they are are wonderful and the heart of the story... Will we remember the battle scenes ten years from now? The special effects will long be old fashioned... BUT these scenes will carry us on forever......

excellent point frodomyhero. which is why i was a bit upset that none of the actors received any nominations for their work. it's the acting that will be remembered most of all.
