Quote from: twoleafclover on February 02, 2005, 10:08:26 pm well pardon me for being a sour grape here, but im just skeptical about actors going into politics, ex:arnold s.
i guess its a little narrow minded but still, but its just the way i feel

I didn't hear that he was that bad of a governor. If he was it would probably be all over the news. Yeah, I know there was that "Girly Men" incident, but my brother told me that was mainly because he was trying to get the treasurers angry enough so they'd actually fix California's shoddy budget.
And wasn't Ronald Regan an actor?

he was, i do think he was a good president, don't get me wrong.
perhaps i worded myself incorrectly, it seems the -majority- of actors turned politicians aren't always as qualified as they should be. i don't like arnold, i don't see why everyone thinks he so much better than the past governor i don't see what he's doing that's so much more preeminent; and it annoys me that he thinks ppl that wernt born in the usa should be able to run for president, these rules and policies were set long before he was even born..who is he to say they should be changed.
