I have been wondering about that.. Why didn't he go? Was he the only one who didn't go?
I never got to see the Awards unfortunately because I was away at University and I didn't have a TV there. 
I did see the Golden Globes the other day but no LOTR sadly. It's also a shame that Eternal Sunshine didn't win anything. I said the exact same thing on the Golden Globes thread in the Elijah section  but I really think Eternal Sunshine should have won something. It was good to see a little "LOST" because it's not shown here in the UK which I find quite sad. Hopefully one day.

Orlando didn't attend last year because he was filming Kingdom of Heaven in Morocco, though he watched the ceremony on TV and was very happy when LOTR won all the awards. 
But serioulsy, I do think he should of been there. Filming commitment or not, it was LOTR's night, you know?

I agree Caz. Even Kate Winslet should of won. I mean her performance so much better then Annette Benning.

I don't get the big deal about Nip/Tuck either. The lady was doing her buisness with some guy and she took her eyes out.. it was freaky.
Anyways, Dom and Evengaline look just so cute together. They're both beautiful people.

Oh I haven't seen Lost yet, but its coming out in at the end of January! So am excited!
Ah! And also I don't like Nip and Tuck, so was a bit disappointed as well.

I saw evangeline lilly on the ellen show today....she can't drive. that's pretty much what I learned...
I was also disappointed that ESOTSM didn't win anything...i was sure at least the screenplay...i mean it was amazing..but there's always hope for the Oscars!!! feb. 27!!!

I watched.. and was disappointed many times. I thought LOST deserved a win, as well as ESOTSM and Finding Neverland.. I would've liked to see Jennifer Garner win for Alias, too, but I'm biased. Lol. Cate Blanchett so should have won her category, too - her Kate Hepburn was amazing!
I was only glad that at least Leo won best actor, and that Howard Shore won best score. At least one former LotR-er won something.
As for Orlando, yeah, I was very surprised to see him there, too! But it wasn't like he could've really turned down Scorseze's offer to introduce his movie, now could he?
I didn't see Dom there at all.. I must have missed him. I saw Evangeline, though - she looked very nice.
