Gollum: She's always hungry. She always needs to feed. She must eat. All she gets is nasty orcses.

Oh, that was a great addition in the EE. When I saw it, my first thought was "I can't believe that was cut out of the original!" It is such an important moment to show how evil the ring had made Gollum.

Glad you agree! It's got a sort of twisted humour to it as well. I agree with you Rose - I don't know why that was cut out. It's a short moment and it's extremely powerful.
Never mind though, I'm sure Peter had a very good reason for not including it.

Oh my god! my favorite part of Gollum has to be in the Two Towers when he's talking to himself, i just cracked up the whole time lol, his split personality is awesome.

my fave gollum bit is when in TTT where gollum caught brace of coneys and going mad when sam was cooking it and called him 'stupid fat hobbit' and sam ranting about taters and at the end sam says 'you're hopless'
and when gollum says orcses and tricksy!

My specifically favorite part:
Sme."But..Master's my friend"

Gol."You're a liar...and a thief!"
Sme."....no."
Gol."...Murrrdererrr..."
And the music starts playing and Smeagol is crying, I just think from then on is so dark and dramatic and compelling and funny, all at the same time. It really is wonderful to watch. Andy Serkis is a gifted actor, truly.

my fav has gotta be the split personality thing in ttt. it cracks me up every time. i also love when his in the forbidden pool and is singing 'to catch a fish, so juicy sweeeeeeeeet' thats great!
and the rotk funniest bit is when he say 'and that doesnt taste very nice does it precious'
u just gotta love gollum
