Elijah doesn't wear the ring purely for sentimental reasons, so I guess Pam won't mind.
The following is from a recent interview :

I like that ring too!!! Pam is really very lucky to have such a guy.. Anyway, I don't think she'd be jealous, because first of all she remembers about army of fans, who follow her boyfriend everywhere.. So I think she got used to it..

I don't like jewellery on men but a ring is okay so I'll let Elijah off but anything more would be no no! 
He must really like that ring because he rarely takes it off. It is silver - it has the 958 silver hallmark which means it's 95.8% silver - just incase you were wondering!!

haha yeah they have him acting crazy because in another thread I started I asked for pictures of him acting like an idiot and I just happen to be looking at them and realize that he had the ring on in each of them lol!

yeah it is the ring that franka gave him a while back......i read in an interview once that elijah wears it all the time because he loves it so much.....he even was wearing it when i met him
