Once you have selected the movie icon, all you have to do his hold down the button like you would to take a picture, instead of taking a picture, the camera starts filming, you can see on the monitor.. you film, and to stop you simply hold down the button again. To watch what you just filmed you switch the setting back to the view icon, like you would to view your pictures.. and the movie shows. I dunno how to explain any better, unless I get really technical and then I'm sure I would lose you.. Elijah can you help? haha......
