Dom would come out sounding "Duh...uh....*would then run away*

If you become an actress, make sure to get an autograph for me, since I'll probably be too busy gawking at him and asking him how it is filming Lost

I'd probably end up calling him Dom

He'd probably not mind that too much, jsut don't call him Daniel Radcliffe, or ask if he was in Harry Potter....though it might be fun just to watch the emotions play over that wonderful face.

I have always called him Lij  and on any forum I go on and I say his name Lij  I place a kissing face after. Like I am giving him a kiss. Sometimes in a forum I am in (it is a LOTR forum) I will say Frodo/Lij  its to say I love Frodo  and Lij  both.

So here:

Lij
Frodo/Lij

I understand how the thing could have become a habit for you Scroll.
I just remembered to say that I am also known for calling him Lijah on here or through a pm once in a while as well as Lij and Elwood.

if i ever get so lucky to meet him, i would call him Elijah, because i'm a stranger to him and i think it's weird for both of us to call him by any of his nickname. Between fans i usually call him Lij.
Besides i love his name. It's so special and sounds beautiful like a melody, just like him.

It would feel wierd for me to call a celebrity by their first name. I've done it in conversation before..but it always looks and sounds wierd somehow.

For me it's always first and last when refering to a celeb.  ie: Elijah Wood, Tom Hanks, Meg Ryan.

I wouldn't just say Tom or Meg..or Elijah.  Or even Mr. Hanks, Ms. Ryan, Mr. Wood.  I know it's their name but it seems wierd.  Exception would be single named celebrities like "Cher"...where that's all there is too it.

I guess in private conversations I might use a first name or nick name for a celebrity but it would still seem wierd to me.

Y'know?

Maybe it's just me.

Of course then there are some people I heard that just refer to Eljah Wood as "Frodo". I'm sure the celebrities wouldn't appreciate being called by a characters name though.

That's a bad habbit that the public does too.  Pick a favorite character and then call the actor or actress by that name.

You and I think alike, Valkyrie! I would also call him Mr. Wood if I ever met him.

It just... fits. "Um... h-hi, Mr. Wood. May I have your autograph?" Those would definitely be the first words that would come out of my mouth. I'm shy around celebs and very shaky. (Excited and nervous at the same time)

But if Elijah Wood and I would become friends and hung-out, I would start calling him Elijah or 'Lijah. It's fun to pronounce. ^_^ ... If I married him his nickname would be Hubby-Hobbit.  Heh.

I think that's exactly what I'd say too! I'd definitely call him Mr Wood - I think it would sound more respectful, and it'd probably give him the impression that I wasn't just a crazy fan and that I respected him for his acting.
