Specify if you want your steak with (wit) or without (wit-out) onions.
{if you're not a rookie this should come naturally}
Step 2.
Specify Plain, Cheez Whiz, Provolone, American Cheese or a Pizza Steak.
{we have lettuce and tomatoes / { if we have to read your mind it's 50 cents extra}
Step 3.
Have your money ready.
{do all of your borrowing in line}
Step 4.
Practice all of the above while waiting in line.
{if you make a mistake, don't panic, just go to the back of the line and start over}

And according to this article, he was able to tour the kitchen...
Elijah Wood, visiting Philadelphia to talk up his film Everything Is Illuminated, cooled his heels for an hour Sunday night while waiting for his luggage at PHL. On the plus side, Wood was taken to Pat's Steaks in South Philly, where he toured the kitchen.

I can't see the article. Can someone post it? And what about that Philly Cheese that are talking about, what's the deal with the food in this thread that is referring to football(soccer)?

sounds very complicated to order this steak thing. people from philly will know right away who the tourists are - because tourist won't know the details.
it's like in Seattle, you know the tourists, because they don't know how to order coffee correctly.

That is so awesome! I just went to Pat's in June! They really do have the best cheesesteaks in the world. We drove up to Ny and really drove like an hour out of our way to eat there. At first I thought the idea of Cheez Wiz on steak would be gross but I tried it and it's the best.

well, you don't live in Seattle, so i don't know how they order coffee were you live. but Seattle, being the coffee capital of the US, the birthplace of Starbucks... of example, if someone here orders a skinny latte, you know immediately they are from the eastcoast. because here it's a non-fat latte. we don't understand skinny. and there are many other such examples.

yea, i wouldn't want my hamburger rare. i would want it very very dead.
regional differences are funny. when i moved here from the eastcoast, i would say "interstate" and people didn't know what i was talking about. since i've learned to call it "freeway".
Nuke, Elijah brings out the best in us. and all topics lead back to him.

So enlighten me, Nettie. I drink a LOT of coffee and I want to know what I've been doing wrong all these years. 
All meat was well done. I don't think that's so true about Ohio anymore though.
