Ebert and Roeper give the film two thumbs up-though they both hated his glasses in the movie

I'll re-post the link. The reivew will be up on their site around Mon. or Tues.

They're not flattering, but they're not that bad.

Yeah, I watched the show today and they both liked the film.  Ebert specifically mentioned that the glasses were distracting him from Elijah's performance and that they weren't necessary because of the talented cast.

I'm no fan of the glasses either, but I can't wait to see this film to judge for myself.

And yet, he could not be distracted by Elijah's glinty glasses in "Sin City"?

i'll have to see the movie for myself to see if they are distracting. somehow, i don't think they will be.

I think the glasses are distracting.. but if Elijah's role is as good as I think it is .. well .. it won't matter

That's really cool!  though - not trying to  turn down the heat, ebert and Roeper are kind of - easy people to like a movie... but still its on the right track!
