Well, the only guest I can recall now (since I didn't watch it) was Lara Flynn Boyle. There was also a man guest, but I can't remember who. The New Pornographers were the musical guest, as advertised.
It just seemed so strange that up to an hour before the show, Conan's website at NBC was still listing Elijah as the only guest. I guess we'll never know what happened.

It's all very mysterious.. I always want to get to the bottom of things but it looks like this is a mystery we won't be able to solve... 
I just sent an email, hopefully I'll get a response. It would just be nice to know what happened.

...I made a STUPID mistake...I was all ready to watch Conan, and I went to bed while waiting for it to come on. I feel asleep until 3:33 and missed the whole thing. 
But now I'm hearing that he wasn't even on at all....huh?? I checked the info of Conan's show on guide and all it said was the New Pornographers perform....so maybe that had to do with something. Maybe?
Geez, fate just doesn't want us to have a good Lij Conan interview.

The same thing happened when RotK came out. They advertised for Elijah to be on just before the show and then Ian McKellan was on instead. . . .

Sort of is such a harmless thing to say, it's just a filler, it doesn't really mean anything. But after certain things sort of means everything - like after "I love you" or "You're going to live."

Seven, that couldn't be true. Conan himself doesn't have anything to do with whether Elijah gets on the show with his hyper active schedule or not. It may have just been a last minute mishap or something. And Conan seems to be actually very fond of him and enjoys his movies, according to what I remember on lots of previous interviews.... like the early Fellowship press, and so on.
What's with all this Conan bashing?

It has nothing to do with any of that! Elijah was moved forward. They bumped other people for him! It was probably a scheduling problem for him because of all the promoting he's been doing. They never intended to have him on twice. And as some of you might recall they didn't say that he would be on on the day that he was. They just never corrected their schedules.

It's funny, I put that avvie there 3 years ago when Robert Pattinson was only Cedric Diggory and now he's Edward Cullen and people actually now who he is....I'll leav it there for a bit just for kicks.
