A big treat!! Elijah on "Wetten Dass" CLIPS - AND MANY MORE

dutch_eowyn over at Livejournal has put up clips of Elijah on WETTEN DASS! Yay!! I'm so happy because I've been looking for these clips for sooooo long!

Make sure you check out some of the previous entries in her Livejournal as well!! There are clips from the Oscars 2002 and the Faculty Extras which were only included on some DVDs. 
Would anyone who doesn't speak german like a transcript of the Wetten Dass Show or is there already one out there?

Nah, you're not weird, just excited, exactly like I am!!!
I knew he was on the show back then but I couldn't watch it and nobody seemed to have any clips at the time but now they're here!!

I videod the whole program when it was on but I need see where I put it since moving home.
Glühwein is really nice. We drink it during the Advent period. I love it.

You're welcome Etaeb. Me too, I like Glühwein as well. It's especially nice when it's really cold outside (like it was when I was in Bavaria two years ago and we had minus 35 degrees celsius!) and you feel the Glühwein going through your body and warming you up.
I love the summer time but I also can't wait for the christmas markets to start. I haven't been to a proper one in three years!!

Thanks, Carina!! I've just watched the videos. Lij seems charming as always Although the program is in German,(Too bad, I don't speak it) it seems a very entertaining show. Besides Lij, I enjoyed the bicycle segment. I was really fun. Also, it was pretty weird listening LOTR dubbed in German. Frodo and Sam's "voice" were fine but Gollum's was funny.

Maybe tomorrow, if I'm not too tired (I'm helping my friend move to a new apartment) I will post a transcript here or in my Livejournal so everyone can understand the interview.
For me, it was the first time hearing Sam's, Frodo's and Gollum's voice in german, I have only ever listened to the film in english. It was a little strange at first but the voices here are not as bad as the ones they usually have on translated movies. Actually, they were not that far from the original voices I thought, well except for Gollum. You could see Elijah was amused.

Carina, sehr schoen, danke.
wow, thanks for posting this . it is really weird to hear Frodo and Sam and Gollum talk german. almost kind of creepy. and also to hear the translator over Elijah talking. i can understand everything and i really want to listen to Elijah actually talk.

Gee, I always thought you gals esp. German fanss already had these so I never thought of posting them.
So did Lij like have a translator speaking in his ear the whole time the interview was going on?
I thought the Oscars and The Faculty vids were terrific as well.  at the time when Fran touched his shoulder.
Can you hear the difference in his accent in the Faculty DVD? Can you count the number of times he says "you know" and "cool"?
Do you detect any similarity in the way he answers the questions esp. with regards to the kind of roles he wants to get? How very consistent, Elwood!
