Thanks for the explanation frodomyhero. So, does quirkiness have a negative connotation then? But in Elijah, it's not negative, it's positive (like you said, it's part of his charm).

I've always associated "quirky" as something positive. Odd, eccentric, or offbeat behavior that makes a person unique and is usually a part of what makes them special or charming.

Yes, "quirkiness" is a nice way of putting it. In the Premiere interview, Liev called him a "strange cat". And that's certainly part of Elijah's charm.
I love the way the first "View" lady squealed when Elijah kissed her hand. I'd squeal too.

i taped it and just watched it. i love his quirkiness. yes, frodomyhero, that is definitely part of his charm. he is not average or boring in any way.
