Yeah, it is rather unfair... only one mil? Must come as a shock for those who consider him megarich.
Well, considering he lives in a cottage and wears his clothes to death, no wonder money is no worry.

That sounds like it was a fun interview . Ive never heard EW talk so openly about his dad , I found it a little odd when Howard said something like " so who are you doing now" Elijah replied with " just a girl" , I understand that he doesnt want to give too much away , but he could of said something a little warmer about her . I also found it interesting when Howard said " keep her in the background" & elijah said "yeah" then howard said " so you can act single" & elijah said " yeah" but changed his answer.
I thought Howard could of been a bit nicer about his dislike of the lord of the rings

Oh I agree. It's weird, b/c I think with Howard Stern you take the good with the bad. He asked a lot of hard hitting questions that most reporters don't bother with. With the exception of a few really well-written articles, journalists stick with: Moving away from Middle-Earth (Hobbit to Hooligan) and Elijah's love of music. Howard hit on what could be touchy subjects--money, the dad, the girlfriend--but some of the phrasing is so sarcastic and blunt. I laughed when he called Howard a lazy bastard for not wanting to read or watch the LOTR films. But Howard's language toward Pam was deliberately disrespectful. "Who are you doing now?" "If you weren't famous, she probably wouldn't touch you..." has to be uncomfortable to hear and respond to even though of course Elijah knows that this is just Howard's schtick and that he's not being serious.
I did like that the LOTR fanboy was enough of a fan to even reference the Grey Havens sequence. Sometimes people claim to be big fans of something but can't go into detail...so that was cool.
Great interview and certainly something different. I want Elijah on a show where he could expand on thoughtful questions about film.

That was an interesting and funny interview (if you want to call it an interview  )
I think Elijah's reply of "just a girl" to Howard's question "who are you doing now?" was perfect. Lij certainly wasn't going to give Howard any information about his girlfriend. Howard would just go off on that and start asking personal questions. Lij wanted to steer the questions away from his girlfriend.
Howard stern is always a rude a**hole. Anyone who goes on his show had better be ready for that. Elijah handled everything wonderfully. Although they didn't let him talk enough. You could hear him laughing a lot though.

Girls, could one you pass that interview transcript for those who could not listen the show? Thank you so much.
Howard Stern is known to be a controversial person. The first time, I know about him was for his comments about slain singer Selena. He was making fun of her because she had Hispanic heritage!! His comments drove me nuts!! I said he was a stupid racist. Then he apologize the Hispanic community.
