...the organisers have arranged one of the strongest line-ups in recent years, with more British and international premieres, the hottest British talent, some unique screenings and appearances by stars such as Elijah Wood, Jason Biggs and cinema legend Paul Schrader.

i guess they haven't heard about how powerful elijah and this movie really is.

Our little guy is pretty busy in August.
Lucky people in Scotland, Edinburgh   
I would go crazy if I had to pack and pack my things again and again for so much traveling. I am horrified already about packing for my two week vacation which is finally coming at the end of this month.

Elijah Wood will be promoting his latest movie Green Street, about English football hooligans, and American Pie star Jason Biggs is expected in the Capital to promote his film Guy X.
Mr Danielsen said: "We have a huge selection of British films covering all genres and it really is an unbelievably strong line-up.
"Edinburgh has certainly become the showcase for the best in British cinema."
Bookings for the festival, which runs from August 17 to August 28, can be made from Friday.
So he must be there some day between the 17th - 28th of August. A very tight schedule, because I think he will be at the premiere of Hooligans in UK on the 22th of August and then go to Toronto and Orlando too.
But he is young he can do it

"Green Street" will be shown August, 23. and 24. in Edinburgh. The festival takes place in Edinburgh and in Glasgow. Billys "On a clear day" will premiere in Glasgow and then on the 22th in Edinburgh.
For Elijah it would be no problem to attend at the London premiere August, 22 and then go to Edinburgh the next day.
I am seriously thinking of flying to Edinburgh,,, the tickets for the movies are available tomorrow...I do not know what will happen with "Green Street" in Germany (I fear that will only see it on DVD) so that would be chance to see Elijah and the film ..And on that festivals the athmospere is very relaxed and the people in Edinburgh are also very relaxed and friendly...

That goes for me as well! (I live in Norway) I attended the festival a couple of years ago, and got to see Billy Boyd doing his play. It was fantastic, that goes for Billy  , the city, the festival, the atmosphere...the whole thing. I truly recommend it.

Deenan, I think the article was meant to have a picture of Elijah on the right side of the text. There wasn't one though......strange. |
