Music Education in vocal performance. To be honest, the whole education part is just something to fall back on; however, I would like to teach at some point.
I really dream of being a perfessional singer and worship leader. 
What type of music did you major in?

I wasn't doing anything nearly as exciting as some of you when I was 22! I had just started my first real job with a law firm. The attorney in the firm who I worked for did wills, estates & trusts. He was a pretty cool guy; laid back, and was always whistling. I still work for attorneys to this day, but not the same ones I worked for way back then.
Carina, I think that's interesting that you got your law degree. Do you currently practice law? In what areas of expertise?

It's nice to see this thread pop up again.
In my daughter's case, now that she's in her 22nd year.. she'll look back on it as the year she went around the world.. boy, mine wasn't as exciting...
Just heard from her yesterday that she absolutely loves Africa and wants to make it a point to come back there again in her lifetime.. she said it was the most beautiful place she's seen.....She also said she was witness to an open heart surgery... wow.

I love this topic.
When I was 22 I was working toward earning my bachelor's degree in journalism. A few months later, after my 23rd birthday, I got my first job.
Today I am 29 (just had my birthday, in fact), looking for a new job and applying to graduate school. In a way it feels like going full circle, I suppose.
I wish I knew then what I now know. As I grow older I feel wiser and more self-confident.
