Oohh I forgot about one of my favorite non-fictions- In Cold Blood, by Truman Capote.

Rhoda, I've read Elie Wiesel's books as well.

Fiction has more potential for fantastical stories and dreaming.

I like non-fiction sometimes (I used to hate it), but I prefer fiction.  It's hard enough to deal with my own life, I don't want to read about other people's problems too!  Not always anyway - I have to be really interested in the subject matter.

There are nonfictional (or sometimes fictional based books on events that really occurred) stories that I reccomend:

Memoirs of Geisha (I forget the author, but I think it's based on a true story)

Don't Stand Too Close To A Naked Man, Tim Allen

Paper Bullets, Kip Fullbeck

Angela's Ashes, Frank McCourt

Happy Reading!
