I read the book but it's been a while now so I've forgotten most of it.
There's a movie on it though. Maybe you should rent it and watch it. It might help you out.

I say watch the movie as well. Make sure you read the book and catch on the details though. You don't want to get sniped with that.
I think I'm reading it next year. Sorry........or else I'd help you out.

Oh God.... teachers....
That's just like me and reading "Education of Little Tree" which was the gayest book EVER. (When I finally came around to finishing it) And in the end, they like, kill everynody off. It was so lame and was SUCH a waste of time.

Yeah, the movie IS like the book! She was probably just trying to make sure you read.
Maybe visit some websites about it, or get CliffNotes..or get with some friends that have to read it too, and read out loud with different voices and such..
Lol - I have no clue. I read it this year for English & I, unlike everyone else in my class, actually liked it. So I had no problem concentrating, although I will admit it does go a bit slow... Very slow really But nothing like Great Expectations *yawns* That book was so boring....

Chapter 7 ~ Shadows And Tall Trees They boys have just missed killing a pig. Then boys start to pretend that Robert is a pig and pretend to kill him. Then they do kill a pig and Ralph starts to boast about it. Then they discover some sort of beast ontop of CASTLEROCK, [which is actually a dead body of a pilot which had been shot down in one of the bombers. He is in a parachute].
Thats all i can remember from that chap...
