Hey guys, Sorry for the random thread, I was just curious. Since most of this forum has a lot of people that like to read, so I was just wondering whats a good book for a 14 going on 15 in two months year old? lol. I look everywhere in my library, and I can never find something intersting(sometimes).
Thanks for the help.

When I was about your age I read a lot of fantasty sort of books - the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer is very good. Or what about The Chronicles of Narnia by CS Lewis?
Have you read anything by Jacqueline Wilson? She writes books that are realistic and sort of funny - my sister really enjoys them and she's about your age.
I would also recommend Louis Sachar - he wrote 'Holes' and 'Dogs Don't Tell Jokes'. They're really good, I still like them.
I also read the Famine trilogy by Marita Conlon McKenna - she wrote a lot of good books set in Ireland, and she's an Irish author. If you can get a hold of 'Under The Hawthorn Tree', I'd recommend that. It's very sad.
If you don't mind 'old' books, I'd recommend Louisa May Alcott's 'Little Women' - that was and still is one of my favourites, and even though it's old, it's fun and touching and it's not at all hard to read.
One last thing - for now, lol - have you read Roald Dahl? He really is the master of storytelling - try 'Matilda', 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory' and 'James and the Giant Peach'.

Jacqueline Wilson is very popular in the UK, probably less known whwere you are. If you find her, her books are good.
If you like reading Anne Frank, you should look out for more historic books - Eva Ibbotson writes nice things. A thing by her that I love is 'Journey To The River Sea', about a young girl who moves to live in the Amazon rainforest.
Hope the recommendations are of some use. I used to love (and still do!) reading, and I'd give nearly anything a go.

Thanks again Mary. I like historic books, yes, and biographies as well. And I'll give that book a go.

If you are wanting something more on the 'romantic/comedy/teen' topic, then I highly suggest reading anything by Meg Cabot. She wrote the Princess Diaries, and they really are cute books. I'm 20 and I still read them. She has a bunch, you should just go to the 'young adult' section. Be careful though, she has a separate adult series that, although funny, probably wouldn't interest you as much as the young adult. Also, you could look at her website http://www.megcabot.com/
