Ok everyone, well not everyone is talking about this book which will be made into a movie on December 12, 2008. I was just wondering what is the whole story to this book is about because some people say part of it when I ask from them... and get kinda confused about this Edward Cullen guy and the vampire and stuff. Since its a huge hit of the book(s), I think? I'll try to read the book... But there is only 2 questions remaining of this....
Is this a good book? and people are saying that there are spelling errors in the book, is that true? Cause I never read a book that has errors in it.
Anyway if you read the book what did you think about it?

I'm probably not much use here, I haven't read it - not really into vampires and stuff. There is a series of books, but I think Twilight is the first. My friend goes mad for them and she says she's in love with Edward, whoever he is!  If you do read it, tell us what you think!

Hopefully I can be of some assistance. I am personally a HUGE fan! The books are incredible. Stephenie Meyer has to be one of the most brilliant writers I've ever read. I'm an english major, so attempt to take my word for it, haha!  You've never read a book with spelling errors? Ha. Well I've read part of The Host, Meyer's latest novel (which is amazing, to be honest) and it has a few spelling errors. I've not noticed any in the Twilight series although I'm almost done with the second book.
Ask me anything and hopefully I can assist. Edward Cullen, just for the record, has made me fall completely in love with a fictional character!

Yeah deifnitely let us know how it is if you get into it. My sister in college loves them and she is SO not into the whole vampire / fiction thing. She finished the first and second book in a total of about 5 days, and they are ENORMOUS books! Yes, I'm confused about Edward Cullen. What makes him so amazing and lovable? I'd love to know ..

Okay well first of all, I adore these books! There are a few spelling errors but who cares? It definitely does not take away from the talent that Stephenie Meyer posseses at all.  I fly through these books. I read a little every chance I get. Almost to the third book. The fourth book is coming out in August (not certain on the date). Edward, in the words that Meyer describes him and portrays him is just breath taking. To truly understand, you must read the books! Honestly, it is well worth your time, I promise! Also, the movie that is coming out portrays Edward just the way I imagined him, physically as of now. He is absolutely, stunningly gorgeous!

I recently read an article in Newsweek about Meyer and the Twilight series. It sounded very intriguing, so I've just ordered the first book from amazon.com.

That's how I felt about the character Jamie Fraser after reading Diana Gabaldon's Outlander series. Those are the best books I've ever read....ever!

Awesome, awesome! I just finished 'New Moon' and I am moving on to Eclipse tomorrow! August 2nd is the release date for Breaking Dawn! I'm stoked!

Here is the story... :p
Five or six days I went to the mall with my family, because my mom was going show shopping and backback shopping for school and stuff. And was looking at other stuff like... cell phones for me and yeah. Anyway, while they were shoe shopping, which took place at Sports Check in Lime Ridge Mall, I went to the store beside it which carried... music, movies, games, and books. I was looking around, of course I went to teh music section first and wanted to find if my fav boy band, NLT, was there... I couldn't see theirs on the wall and stuff.. so I asked the people who worked their if tehy carried it they said no. So I was a little bit upset. Then I went to teh book section. I saw Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and other bestsellers like Antonement, and more, but I forgot. And they were 25% off. I saw Lord of teh Rings; the Two Towers which were for 6$!!. And other books were for 6$. But, I went to go look at Twilight, I really!! really! wanted to buy the book.. so I read some of teh pages... like a sentence or two. I didnt tend to read it hwo I felt like to because people were around me and I was shy. So, I really wanted it!. Since it was a HUGE bestseller book and people are like HUGE fans like my fellow here, [Megsie], the writer :p. My step dad came from the Sports Check store.. and I aksed him... can I buy teh Twilight book. He saw it and was like looking at the book and me so starnge because it was a thick book !. Hes like are you going to read all this I am like YEAH!. :p. My mom won't allow me to ask him for stuff because.. I don't know shes like that.. when I lived with him over 6 years! and he known me since I wa sliek 6 years old. ahaha.Anyways, he's is like how much is this book? I am liek I am not sure... since books are sooo expensive. So he is like.. ' ok, I'll buy it ' I am like NO nvm.. he's liek why? Becuase my mom will kill me hes like alright let me ask her... So, he went back to Sports Check and asked her... then he came back and said she said no. I wa slike awww... hes liek you wnat ot not.. cause he'll buy it for me.. I said 'yeah, but mama' so, she came.... to teh store and loked at me.. not to rudely liek normally.. My step dad asked her.. ' she wants this book she wa sliek no... he turned ot me and asked ' what is this book about ? " i wa slike ' its a bout a girl whp falls in love with a vampire and stuff. ' he was like okay, I'll buy it... he went to the cash register and bought it.. everyone of my family left. I went to look at the receipt it it was expensive... and.. no it wasn't! it was only for 9$ and something cents with 25% off.
So, I read the Twilight book in 4 days!
And I didn't like it
I loved it!
Now I am like in love with Edward!.
Can't wait for the movie now!.
I don't care what people say.
because a lot are saying that Robert Pattinson is not good as Edward.. the film will be bad and not like the book.
I am like annoyed of that because.. if the director does every inch, action and words of the book, it'll be like a 3-4 hour movie :p
so, yeah, Stephenie Meyer is now one of my fav authors

About Twilight,i did not read the books,but now i'd love to..
And who will play Edward, that guy on Harry Potter, is really hand-some..i saw some pics of Twilight the movie on a gallery of a member of the deviantART...Edward and Bella are so cute!

I am going to the Breaking Dawn premiere party at a Barnes and Noble tomorrow night! I am SOOO EXCITED! I even had a t-shirt made for the occassion. I'll have to post a picture. I am definitely on Team Edward where as my boyfriend is definitely on Team Jacob. Haha. He calls me his "bloodsucker" so I call him my "dog". Romantic, aye? Haha.
Anyway, I think Pattinson is going to be amazing! He looks just how I picture Edward! I find him personally gorgeous.

I know, probably my post didn't make sense. Cuase I was going thrugh a rush.
Yeah, Cedric form the Harry Potter film is going to be Edward Cullen which his actual name is Robert Pattinson lol
And yeah I agree he is hand-some!! :p
And you should read the books. The books are amazing! when you read it its like you are actually there.. and being Bella for all I know.. cause most of teh books are on her perspective. AMaZING books, amazing. Can't wiat for the film! a lot of people think that Robert as Edward will be bad.. but he'll do a great job!..
I am on the second book of the Twilight series... I am like half way through over a 500 page book in 3 days! lol. I know, I am behind but I want to take my time. lol
