Hey Rose!! Can I join your group? Are you going to post a link about the book's chapters? I don't have the novel and is going to be a big challenge for me if I read it again in English.

Of course you can join us, MyFrodo. We'd love to have you! Hmmm....about posting a link to the book's chapters, I will have to get back to you on that. I have no idea where to even find something like that but I have the feeling a few of the more computer savy girls around here will.
Thanks, Nettie, for the compliment about the advertising.

LotR is not available to read online. You'll have to buy the books or ask someone who owns them if you could use them for at least six months.
I'm working on the schedule. I'll make it 2-3 chapters to read every week. That way, it'll take you 2 months to get through each book. I can of course adapt the schedule if that proves to be too fast / slow.

On November 1st I will be reading the books again but as much as I'd like to join your group I wanna see if I can finish them before Christmas. But to those that have not read the books yet.
I remember a chapter in The Return Of The King book that brought a tear to my eye. The exact same chapter in the film did that too!

I sooo want to participate. I read the books once, but I want to read them again. Count me in. I think I'm already going to start reading . that's a bit cheating, I know

Idril, Elijah's Impact and Artanis, we would love to have you join us! Idril, we will let you know on the exact time. How does 8:12am sound. Actually, I think this should be a very laid back kind of thing. Most of us will probably follow Cristiel's schedule but if some want to read faster (like Elijah's Impact) or slower, that is just fine. And starting early is fine, too, Artanis.

And the book cannot be read online? I thought I can, because my brother did it. Maybe I will ask The Council of Elrond's leader about this, Rose!!
