Christopher Pauloni
*Spoilers*
I was shocked at the ending the new rider - is oh so surprising, lol.. All of Angela predictions come true. And a bonus - you get to hear what Roran is up to... And he is'nt to happy with Eragon.. Eragon goes through some ... changes, we learn more about Brom, and VERY MAJOR SPOILER
We learn who his dad is, and sorry if I prepped you up and dissapointed - but - what can I say, book is way to good to spoil.
Amd if I had to choose between Eragon and Eldest -- I would choose Eragon.

I've just finished to read Eldest! I liked it!.....I prefer Eragon though.......Anyway Eldest is interesting too! The story changes in the last chapters actually.....What's the name of the last episode of trilogy? I can't find it.........and I can't wait to read it! I think the story is quite similar to The Lord of rhe rings......For example the Raz'ac could be the Nazgul, The Empire = Mordor, Palancar = the Shire etc. Perhaps thanks of that I like this story very much!

The last book does not have a title yet, Arya. That is why you can't find it. I bet it will start with E, though. I also saw a lot of similarities between LOTR and Eragon/Eldest. I also saw even a few similarities between the books and Star Wars. I have not read Harry Potter, but a friend said their are some similarities there, too. Christopher Paolini is a LOTR/Star Wars/Harry Potter fan so I bet he got a lot of his ideas from them.

Yes, you're right! I think it's impossible for a LOTR and HP fan not make some similarities in the story anyway... I think I have to wait another year to know the end of this story...... Who knows what will happen?

It's not TERRIBLE, but it lacked the plot movement of the first book. And it didn't have a lot of innovation. (Why do elves ALWAYS live in forested sanctuaries? Why do none of them live alone?)

Do not speak to us of the greatness of poetry, Of the torches wisping in the underground, Of the structure of vaults upon a point of light. There are no shadows in our sun, Day is desire and night is sleep. There are no shadows anywhere.
