Sorry for bumping this thread, but you've got another lover of Stephen King right here!
I've read Misery before, it was an amazing book! (and so is the movie; gives me chills!)
My first book that I picked up was Carrie. Later, I read Pet Sematary (which I am re-reading again after two years), Misery, Cujo, Cycle of the Werewolf... I'm thinking of reading The Stand, since I loved the mini-series. I found King's villain Randall Flag very entertaining. ^^

Ooh, my mother watched the old-version of The Shining a couple nights ago with a friend! Scared the crap out of her. And thanks! ^^ I suppose I will read The Stand next.
Hey, is anyone planning on reading or getting Under The Dome yet? It's released on the 10th in the United States. I heard from King that it's longer than IT.

I love the old version of The Shining, never read the book but thought everyone was great in there roles! 
SK was in the metro yesterday apparently his new book(20yrs in the making) has not been received well!
