Miyelo, by Viggo Mortensen.

Do not speak to us of the greatness of poetry, Of the torches wisping in the underground, Of the structure of vaults upon a point of light. There are no shadows in our sun, Day is desire and night is sleep. There are no shadows anywhere.

I just finished the perks of being a wallflower by stephen chobsky and a clockwork orange by anthony burgess, and now i want to read burgess other novels. I read the back of one, where they deal with overpopulation by having cannibal-bars, promoting homosexuality "Its sapien to be Homo" (it read), and they have weird sex rituals, but for the life of me i cant remember the title. At the moment I'm up to "The Two Towers" in LOTR. So you could say the last book I read was "The Fellowship of the Ring" But I own the one volume edition. So I count it all as one book. So the last book I read was "Of Mice and Men" for my English GCSE.

I just finished four books simultaneously:
"Baby Plays Around: A Love Affair, With Music" by Helene Stapinski. "Stupid Sex" by Ross and Kathryn Petra (a HILARIOUS book -- and all true, worst of all!) "Something Like an Autobiography" by Akira Kurosawa (this is one of the best autobios I've ever read) and "Mo Te Upoko-O-Te-Ika/For Wellington" by Viggo Mortensen (just astounding).

"Song of the Sound" by Adam Armstrong.
It's a story about an American woman called Libby and her 12 year old daughter Bree who travel to New Zealand to study a school of dolphins near Te Anau.
