Well I've always loved Jaqueline Wilsons books.

But my favourite child hood book has to be '5 minutes peace'..or was it 'Peace at last'.

I think it was called Peace at Last. It was all about  ab bear who couldn't get to sleep! Very cute.

Oooh, I used to adore these books.
I even had the dolls...

There are these books, the Jillian Jiggs series (if I'm not mistaken), my mom used to read them to me, and it was always weird cause the young girl in the book's name was Jillian, and so is mine. The character Jillian would always remind me of myslef, both appearance wise and immagination wise.

Good times.

"are you there god, it's me margaret" by judy blume.

just the perfect book for a young girl. of the quotes in that book, the one that still sticks in my mind to this day is "i must, i must, i must increase my bust

I'm afraid i don't know any of the authors you talked about..
Maybe they are not available in France..

Anyway, my favourite is Roald Dahl. With "Charlie and the chocolate factory", and so many other books from him but i couldn't tell the title in english..
But "Charlie.." has always been my favourite one! I'd always dream to visit this so wonderful chocolat factory... (Especially for the grass made of mint-chocolate! miiuum!

Or Lewis Caroll, for his so crazy but great "Alice in Wonderlands" and "From the other side of the mirror and what she found there"
I loove these stories! He has such a special way to write them, without any logic actually, which give the feeling that it's a dream.
Just great!

I really loved books by Roald Dahl, Lewis Carroll and Dr Suess.

Some of my favourite books were also Animalia and The Eleventh Hour by Graeme Base. Those are brilliant.

I liked Dick King Smith when I was younger.
Then after that I was really into Jaqueline Wilson.
