Now this is probably one of my favorite books. It's about a young girl who is murdered and goes to heaven. While she is there she can watch down on her family and friends as they cope with her death, and she can even watch down on the rest of the world. It was very well written, and the feelings and characters seemed real. I think everyone should read it. If you have, what did you think of it?

I've never read it, but I've heard it's great. Maybe I'll check it out at my library..

I think the author's name is Alice Seabold, if I'm not mistaken But,yes, I have heard and seen this book. It was really intriguing the way it was written. However, I didn't get to buy it, actually. Might get it next time.

I read it and yeah, it was a bit creepy and morbid at times, like the way George Harvey chopped her up and all, and the way he got killed by a falling icicle was a bit dodgy. but in general it's a very intriguing story.

I thought that this book was so sad. I mean she watched everything that happened after her death and how her death affected everyone. She got to watch her sister grow up in a sense, I thought it was very well written. I thought the way she created heaven is really neat. To have like your own version of heaven that overlaps with some peoples heavens as well. If you haven't read it yet, I would strongly recomend this book.

Anyone read it?
"My name was Salmon, like the fish; first name, Susie. I was 14 when i was murdered on December 6, 1973. My murder was a man from our neighbourhood. My mother liked his border flowers, and my father talked to him once about fertilizer."
