ummm LOTRs is always my fav also the hobbit, the raging quiet and another book that i can never rememer the title lol lots and lots

the hobbit

all the cs lewis books 
and all the harry potters

oh! I forgot about the c.s. lewis books! I love those! Those were my first major series before harry potter and lord of the rings!

I LOVE BRITISH AUTHORS!!!!
My favorite author is Terry Pratchett. I love that man. He is SO FUNNY. I highly reccomend him to anyone who likes the LOTR books, cause he's in the same genre (fantasy) but with funny added in!
My second favorite author is Douglas Adams, then Kurt Vonnegut. I also like the Harry Potter books.
If I had to pick a favorite book, I'd say Thief of Time by Pratchett.

I've said this on any thread having to do with favorites, but anything by Terry Pratchett is my favorite. This past summer I read 26 of his books...so that's 26 books in three months. I read other books too, but only 26 of his.
I'm a reading machine! So much better than TV. If you don't mind thinking, that is.
