As many books as I read, as diversified as they are and across all the genres my favorite book will always be: Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.
I will always love that book

Quote:| JustBishop, I just finished reading Queen of the Damned... it took me one night, I couldn't put it down! I found the start of Interview with a Vampire a little slow though, I wasn't used to her style of writing, but I really enjoyed the books. Is the Body Theif the next book in the series, and if not, what is? |
Yes TotBT is the 4th in the Vamp Chron., (and, needless to say, it's phenominal,) but I suggest you go back and read Interview and The Vamp Lestat. Those are the 1st and 2nd. You've read QotD, so you'd be all caught up. After TotBT comes Memnoch, then I think The Vamp Armand. After that I believe she started on the new tales of the vampires, like Pandora and Vittoro, which I actually have not read. I hope you enjoy
|
Omg, I can't wait to read Memnoch and Armand!!!! I've finished TotbT one month ago and I feel so naked without a new book of the chronikles in my hand. Damn! I WANT THOSE BOOKS FOR CHRISTMAS!!!
My fave book is The Vampire Lestat, oh my, soooooo good - though I actualy hate reading

I can't believe how old this thread is!
But thats for whoever found it, I had typos that really needed to be fixed!!
I was going to come and answer, but I realized I already had at the start of the year!!
I'm going to add one book to my nearly-topping-Tolkien-but-not-quite list.
Mary Renault - Fire From Heaven
An absolutely amazing book describing the life of Alexander before he becomes King.
**edited to add, The Great, as in Alexander the Great, if you're confused with who I'm talking about
