Mary Higgins Clark is great, as well as Stephen King, Dean Koontz, Charles Dickens, and J.R.R. Tolkien. I have too many favorite books, but some are: LOTR trilogy (duh), Fahrenheit 452, Lord of the Flies, and A Tale of Two Cities
