I started reading Koontz after basically reading all of Stephen King. I kinda see his works as King Light! But I love Koontz.
I have about 4 favorites Moonlight Cove The Watchers (with the smart dog) Intensity and damn I can't remember the title, but the characters are detectives who are trying to help Frank figure out why he wakes up with bloody hands. And he has twin sisters who can communicate with animals and a homicidal brother named Candy.

i haven't read moonlight cove, intensity or the watchers yet! i'll have to read those! is the third one your talking "the bad place"? and if you're looking for a another koontz book to read, DEFINITELY read "cold fire". i think that was one of his best. it was just this really scary and eerie plot with this awesome love story in it too

Yes it is called the Bad Place, very good read also.
I haven't really read much of his new stuff that has been published in the last year or two, I've been busy doing other hobbies!
But if you haven't read Intensity you MUST MUST read it. It's really really good.

Yes, Watchers was good. I love the idea of a dog that can communicate. Sometimes I wish (if she is for real), that I could be like that Pet Psychic woman. I'd rather talk to my animals than most people!
