I'm not sure how many of you have gotten deep into Anne Rice books, but I personally think shes an amazing author(a tad insane but aren't they all?)
Just wanted to see how many people have gotten into her books and type of writing, and I don't neccecarily mean the erotica stuff she writes, although thats good as well.

I've heard of her. Isnt she the one who wrote the story for "Queen of the Damned"?

I love her stories, but I think she relies a little too heavily on 'purple prose'. In the books I've read anyone, mainly the Vampire Chronicles.

It was the Vampire Cronicles mostly Vadas, yeah, I agree she did, but never the less she was amazing.
Yes she wrote the story for Queen Of The Damned, and to get it all straight the movie sucked terribly and did NOT portray that book in any way.
Sleeping Beauty Series was good, other than the fact it was Erotica, lol.
The Feast Of All Saints
Taltos and The Witching Hour
The Servent Of The Bones
To many to name.... break time... blah

Unfortunately, I haven't gotten to read any of her books, but I do love the movie Interview with a Vampire, and I've heard the book is better, which is usually the case. And although Queen of the Damned, I'm sure, had nothing to with the book, it was still kinda good. I mean, no matter what, I LOVE vampires, so it's hard for me to say a vampire movie sucked. I think the acting was pretty good, the only thing is it went pretty fast. Which leads me to believe the book and story line are much longer and better. I need to read her books sometime, but right now I'm in a Stephen King mood. Must read all his books!

I read Interview with a Vampire because i have a thing about reading the book b4 seeing the movie. I actually found it really good. But then i saw the movie and i think i would have liked el pelicula alot better if i hadnt read the book first.

I just watched the movie "Interview with the Vampire" this past weekend, and I loved it! I have to read all the Vampire Chronicles now... My mom's read all of them, and she said I'd love them. I think I'd probably like the Witching Hour stuff too -- although I still think vampires are cooler.

I thought that they chose the worst of the many story lines when the made Queen of The Damned. It was interesting [the book], but Jesse bored me to tears.
Mekare scared me... bookMarius was cool.
Why did you type the Chronicles out?
