HP is nice, but you can't compare it to LotR, they're very different books. This is not to say which book is better, because they are in different genres, but what you prefer to read... Some people like HP better ( it sure is easier to read) and I'm a major Tolkien nut.  YAAAAY!!!!

gr they're tied AGAIN!!! strange ... I thought more ppl liked lotr than hp, guess i was wrong  Hp is great and all, but I think it doesnt come close to LOtr (my opinion, plz dont bite my head off)

I choosed ->crap no one ever heard of (or wants to hear of, for that matter) but i dont think it's crap I admire! My favorite books (right now) are tomorrow when the war began (and the other six books in that serie) by John Marsden.

Do you know how impossible it is to confine the vast amount of books and literature there is out there to an 8 choice poll?
As for poetry, I love Poe, and Dickenson, and some of Shakespere.
I like all kinds of subjects for books, right now, I am leaving my sci-fi fest and am in the middle of my psych ward binge. But one of my favorites is Dante's Inferno. Though I don't believe in a hell, I just love that book.
