Okay, so maybe I am..but Harry Potter is great! Not just a kid's book..My mother, whose age I won't disclose (she's over 50  ) loves it..and I've come across many people from all different ages and lifestyles who just adore the book.

Hey, I love HP, and I started reading it when I was 18. All HP lovers I know are adults. I was just joking about the fact that most people say they like LotR better because HP is a childrens book. Often its harder to write a good childrens book then abook adults will like. Kids are far more critical. I admire JK Rowlings imagination, humor and use of Latin (*geek alert*), it's definately one of the best books I've ever read.

i really love the LOTR books... the 1st is my fave so far. im 1/2 way thru (ok-ALMOST 1/2 way thru) the 2nd book
