i think we're going to Cardiff to see the eisteddfod.
would be nice to go a bit futher, but beggars can;t be choosers.

Yep, Niagara Falls is amazing! I stayed near lake Ontario which was pretty cool, too. Has anyone else been to Niagara Falls?

I was...it was awesome. I did the thing where you went "under the Falls" because my brother was too scared to go on the Maid of the Mist. What did you do there?

I wouldn't mind going there! But I can't take any more nine-hour flights for at least two years. Or else I will die from exhaustion.
I went to Europe this summer and I don't think I am going anywhere major until next summer. Until then I'll probably just be going down to Galveston, TX, which is by the Gulf of Mexico, to swim and sunbathe.
EDIT: Beth, my friends went to Washington, D.C., the Spring Break after 9/11. They really enjoyed it and they're not history aficionados. So I think you'd have fun. I really want to go.

I went under the falls too! I didn't go on the Maid of the Mist, it was really, really busy when I was there. I went to the Table Rock cafe where you can see all the falls while you eat, that was cool

Mer, I'd probably like Washington, DC, except my mom reads every single sign. And I have a short attention span and get bored very easily. It's not a good combo. I don't like museums just for that reason. The stinkin' signs. My family is going when I'm in Florida...hey, I'm not complaining, heh heh.
Liladriel, I've never heard of that cafe...it sounds awesome! Did you see it at night? I didn't get to. I was sad. But I got a postcard that had it on there. I love that postcard.

I didn't see it at night I bought a postcard of it at night too! Its all lit up with different colours, it looks really pretty. I bought some water in the gift shop that had 'survived a drop over the falls' Lol, its dyed pink for some reason.

Lol, the gift shop there was strange. They had a giant moose  We were going to go back to the falls to watch the July 4th fireworks but there was a really bad storm so we couldn't go
