Summer! What do you like about it?

It's finally here! 
What are your favourite summer activities or what do you like about summer? 
I love: hanging out at my cottage, swimming (in my friend's pool or the lake), boating, tubing, cook-outs, relaxing, napping, tv marathons, reading all day, vacations, plays, hanging out with my friends... doing crazy and hilarious things, air conditioning, ice cream parlors, shopping, hiking, sleeping in, waking up early, sleeping in the basement, camping, camp fires, flashlight hide and seek at the park, catching fireflies... everthing.

Going on "days out" to national trust places ( I love old buildings, sad I know)
Walks (usualy in the forest or up some mountain)
no school
ice cream.

Icecream!, going to pukkelpop (festival, the white stripes are coming! ), my friend's parties, enough time to read fanfics and attack PSP, stalking people (not really stalking ofcourse  ), the sun, the sky, camping, all those beautiful flowers, more time for my forums, swimming,going on vacation, no exams, no schoolwork,sunbathing, shopping, going to Antwerpen, watching movies and television ...

I love the lazy feeling at the end of a hot day, when it's starting to cool down and theres a beautiful sunset and you can just sit outside with candles or whatever until it gets dark...
And 6 weeks of no school, of course, and going on holiday!

Nice thread.
*Staying up; sleeping in.
*No school.
*Going on vacations; the beach.
*Being able to wake up and just lay there thinking.
*Playing with all the neighborhood kids on my block.
*Going swimming in my pool.
*Reading and watching TV/movies whenever you want.
*The Ice-cream man...even though I don't get it very often. Once you hear that jingle coming down the street, you know it's summer.
*Being able to spend more time on here!

OK... what I'm looking forward to THIS summer...
Walking home from the bus stop after my last ever GCSE, and just listening to the sound of my feet on the pavement, and listening to bird song. (I used to do that when I was in Junior school everytime I came home.)
And going to Singapore and Australia to see friends and family that I've not seen in years.
What I look forward to every summer...
Not having to time going out with my mates around revision or coursework.
Being able to stop out as late as I want.
Sitting out on my balcony with a good book, and a tall glass of whatever with LOTS of ice.
Stopping up for as long as I want.
Just deciding to sleep over at someones. Or have someone sleep over at mine about an hour before we go to sleep!
Messing about with my friends.
And not having to even look at the winter wardrobe...
... Oh yeah... and getting my mum to pay for any summery clothes I want!!
YEEEEEE!!

No school!
I don't have to worry about getting up at a certain time, unless I have somewhere to go, which I usually don't during the early hours of a summer morning.
Going on vacation is okay, even though my family always just goes to Saskatchewan, Canada.  It's because we have relatives there (pretty much all of them).
I also don't have to worry about eating something that's going to upset my stomache the next day when I'm sitting in class at school.
Yay, fun stuff.

Not having homework, being able to do stuff with my friends during the week, going to the pool, seeing hot guys at the pool, and all the movies that come out during the summer.

Rec. Softball with my friends
Staying up till I feel like and not having to worry about a test the next day.
Going to the beach and hanging out with friends
Good running weather
Don't need to wear shoes outside!
