Feminism has been corrupted lately. It seems like some feminists don't want equal rights, they want superiority. Kudos to any true feminists though.

I guess I sort of am, but not really. I'm all for women's rights and all that, but I'm definitely not an activist. The only political label I've given myself (and probably the only one that fits me) is "benign liberal". I made it up. Basically it means I support a lot of liberal causes, women's rights being one of them, but I don't go to rallies or marches or sign petitions or get mad at men for doing stupid stuff (I've just accepted that they're stupid -- I can live with that). So yeah. Not an activist.

I am a militant feminist!!! Heh, okay...so not completely, but I am appalled at how some men treat women these days, and think that women should rule the world! Hehe...

I wouldn't consider myself a feminist. I'm not ashamed of being a female but I also don't consider men inferior. I'm not saying all feminists do, but that seems to be the case with some.

I'd consider myself a feminist. And I will remain so until women would stop being forced to corrupt their bodies and such, because that's how they're expected to act. Women can do just as much as men, and it bugs me because sometimes they don't even get the chance to try. That has happened to me tons of times, especially because I'm a female bass guitarist, and I've offered to play in bands for guys who needed a bassist where they just ignored my offer, and they hadn't even heard me play! It's so annoying!
I can't help but feel like a feminist. I don't shave my legs either, and I've met guys who've said that was disgusting. Why do we have to if men don't!!

And I'll keep digging, till I feel something.

Glad i'm not alone
And it is wrong for females to have to shave their legs, be hairless, prim and proper, etc. A guy could run around and be dirty and thats okay because he's a guy. Why do girls have to wear shorter/tighter things anyways? It's just not fair.

Uh, I definitely don't think guys are allowed to run around and be dirty and grimy all the time (wondering why it's considered sexist to bathe oneself). I for one want my men to be at least moderately presentable.

Said. They said. *sniffs* Terrible, these days. All the decent bands dissolve into nothingness. Ahem. Feminists. Yes.

What about men? If they started shaving their legs, wearing female underwear/clothing, makeup, etc., they'd be labeled either as a transvestite or gay.
