I don't really like Venice Beach. I mean, some of the stuff you can buy is neat (I'm not referring to drugs) but the people there are weird. The last time I was there, some old guy was shouting about how Jews were responsible for all the war that was going on and should be punished. I wanted to throw something at him.
So I don't go anymore. It's not really a place I enjoy. But I hope you have fun - lots of other people like it. And I do love the beach in general.

Sounds like Berkeley. Definitely more enjoyable with earplugs.

But the freaks are funny!
I didn't do much surfing. The waves weren't great yesterday. I got a little tan, though.

I was down at Magic Mountain this weekend, it was a blast. That was the first time I had been there.

Wow, a lot of LA people! Awesome. I have to go back there soon. As in, I'm moving back. I'm very sad. I don't like LA weather. I'm going to miss SB unbelievably.
I sat outside today to study with my dad. We studied for something close to ten hours. It was very hot out and I am very red. But only on certain parts of my body since I did not turn often. I look kinda funny. Phooey.
The earthquake was up at SB, not in LA. You wouldn't have felt it there. If that's where you're from, I mean, Sweet4Lij.
Earplugs, Lemonhead? Sounds real exciting.

But the loonies are so much fun! Besides, I fit in with them. Well not the Venice Beach loonies, just loonies in general.
I don't think I've ever typed the word "loony" so much in post. Wonderful.
I'm very tired. I tried to have a conversation wtih an old friend but we were both so tired, we didn't really say anything insightful. Good times.

Well, right now I'm in SB which is a little under two hours away from LA. It depends on traffic really.
But once I graduate, I will actually be in LA, the city. Not the valley. Though the valley is nice and I will probably want to live there later. No, I live right in Los Angeles. Not in south central or anything. That's too freakin' scary for me. I live kind of in a Jewish neighbourhood which works well for me, what with being Jewish and all. I used to live in Santa Monica many many years ago. I kind of wish I still did because SM is so much nicer and you don't get that greyish sky every night. And there's the beach. I don't like swimming in the ocean, but I love having a beach nearby. So peaceful.
Why do you ask? Thinkin' of stalking me? Haha, only kidding.

I'd want you to do that, just so I could hear you yell "bun futty!" Ahahahaha. You should yell it out anyway. At passers-by. Try it - it's fun!
I would ask from which part of SF you are, but I don't know northern California well at all. I've only been up there a few times and the last time I was there, I was passing through so I didn't stop for long. Do you think you'll always live there? I mean, do you think that that will be your most permanent home residence?

First off Mad, I appreciate it!! Imoved to Chicago and realized how beautiful it was here!! I love it!!
I am a little north of SF right now. Its a beautiful area. The wine country. I love it. I love SF. But I also love San Diego and parts of LA. The middle, like on I5 BLECK, its ugly and gross. But No Cal is very beautiful. I think i will always live somewhere in Cali. I love to travel, and I would like to continue to ( I have driven across the US three times now, well, as far east as Chicago down to Memphis) I love the US, its a beautiful country. I havent been up in Mad's neck of the woods yet, but I have been to Savannah and parts of Florida. But I think Cali is the place for me.
Maybe I will retire in Savannah.
